Vindictus does not have this, the fact that it's possible to get 0-1 of an item per run makes expertise, or farming for anything in general, a horrible despair filled RNG fest. Now provided you aren't going after that monsters ultra rare part, you are guaranteed to get at least 1 of what you need at the end of the quest, because there is such a thing as 'quest rewards' that are part of the quest itself, and not drops from the hunt or carve.

Was just thinking to myself today that the biggest qualm I have with Vindictus in general is that you can play for hours upon hours and make 0 progress towards a goal that you've set for yourself, just because of how RNG is, and how unforgiving drops are.Įxample of how things should be: In monster hunter, when you need a part from a specific monster, you obviously go hunt that monster.
